I was amazed that there was such a marked difference between the styles of Soya Sauce Chicken between the 2 shops. You’d expect that since they both had the same origin that they would be similar in taste right?
Chiew Kee – Bro (left) and Chew Kee – Sis (Right)
First thing you notice is that the Chicken Skin is a lighter brown colour, more like the Soya Sauce Chicken that is commonly sold elsewhere. The chicken flesh was tender and succulent and the sauce was lighter and slightly sweeter. The noodles were thinner and more yellow and a little softer to the bite, but still QQ. 4/5
Conclusion
We all prefered the Brother’s version of Soya Sauce Chicken. However, it was not fantastic enough to get me raving about it.
