This year, I want to focus a lot more on Spanish cuisine, so for the first makan session of the year, I have arranged for a very special Spanish appreciation session where we are going to learn about traditional style Spanish food paired with Spanish Wine.
There are many tapas restaurants in town serving different styles of tapas. Some have been tweaked to suit the local palate while others are a fusion of different cuisines. What I wanted to focus on is traditional Spanish tapas prepared the way they do in Spain. Not only will we get to experience the food, the Chef will also be coming out to talk to us about Spanish ingredients and how the dishes are prepared.
Not only that, our wine expert will also be introducing Spanish Wines and we will also get to sample some with our food! So its going to be a wonderfully relaxing and educational afternoon after which we can all go have our siesta!
