20 million hits! Thanks for reading!

I just realised that we have just crossed the 20 million pageviews mark! Thanks everyone for your support!

I just returned from a culinary trip to Israel and am now doing my reservist which is why the blog is not getting updated as regularly. I have got over a thousand photos from my trip which I can’t wait to show you, but what to do? I got to wear the pixelated uniform for another week!

Our Ultimate Hawker Fest has just gotten a huge boost and we are now looking at hosting it in a very central location next to the MRT. Can’t reveal where it is yet, but we will be selling tickets in about a fortnight. I want to thank everyone who has written in to ask how they can support the event. Aside from the hawkers, we have hotels, meat suppliers, event organizers, chefs etc etc all pitching in to help make the event happen. It’s going to be huge, so keep watching this space!

I am also trying to make this hawker event environmentally friendly, so we are approaching sponsors for biodegradable plates and untensils. We are in talks with one supplier now, but we also want natural products like Opeh leaves which are not only traditional but environmentally friendly as well! If you can help, do write in to let us know!
