It would be interesting to see if Foodies are necessarily overweight. Those familiar with this blog would know that I have always advocated responsible makaning, hence our catchphrase: Never waste your calories on yucky food. That means that one has to enjoy the food but at the same time be responsible for one’s own health.
The BMI is basically a quick way of getting an indication if one is overweight. It is not perfect, but it is the standard that is currently being used. To work out your BMI, you take your weight in Kg and divided that by your Height in m squared. The formula is (Wt in kg)/[(Height in m)x(Height in m)]
