Food photography is the latest trend in the world of photography. There have always been food photographers but they were a specialized lot of people, together with bird photographers and insect photographers. But since the introduction of the camera phone, online photo sharing sites and blogs, the number of people taking photos of food before they eat it has increased significantly in the past few years and the kakis you see in the newspaper article picked up the hobby only quite recently.
