Hmmm, I've been wondering why you have not tried the chicken rice at Bedok Interchange... It's real good! There are two stalls, the one on the right (while standing facing them) is the good one with queue. I love it so much. It's the only chicken rice I will purposely drop off mrt halfway to buy then go back to take mrt again.
Will be visiting and revisiting some of the nominations before voting. But am disappointed that Sin Kee Famous Chicken Rice (Mei Chin FC) is not nominated.
i look forward to reading the results so when i visit singapore i'll know where to check out :-)
Well soundman, they did get a few nominations but not enough to make it to the top ten!
It's early in the game but it looks like Tian Tian is quite clearly in the lead!
My vote went to Tian Tian
Tian tian is great, but hate the location (hard to get tables during lunch time)
Don't know if anyone tried the chicken rice at katong shopping center basement coffeeshop. I really like that.. (just can't remembe rname)

how come the total more than 100%?
i think tiantian only chilli nice, but i love Tong Fong Fatt, and its not pricey like the rest of the chicken rice chain stores.
Why Sin Kee (Mei Ching) not in the list?
Two obvious reasons:
*Quality
If we order the single dish meal, the stall is giving no so nice meat, even my neighbourhood chicken stall is better. Tian Tian even single dish at least dish out reasonbly good meat.
*Service
Two occasions (my own expereince) the assitant (especially helper not official and employed by other stall) they wanted to provide extra help) spoil the show.
And the above two reasons I personally convey to the owner.
It is the owner's fault if he just close one eye.
So not in the list was understandable.

The poll is not very accurate because those with more than one branches are inevitably the quality is varied.
